Are you a studio owner looking for something that will last for many years? While all of our barres will last for a long time (backed by a 10-year warranty) there are some products designed for commercial use and extra abuse. Should you need something more rugged, we have options for you. Our Professional Series and Extreme Series take things to the next level with added strength and more weight. Let's talk a little about each one so you can become a little more familiar.
The professional barre steps things up in several key areas. If you want a heavier barre, the Professional series is twice the weight of our comparable Prodigy series barres, and this will make the ballet barre feel more planted on the floor. This unit has pre-set points on the uprights where the clamps lock into place. They will never slide down due to pressure being applied. The barre is composed of thicker aluminum tubing and steel tubing than the Prodigy series. You have options for both wood and aluminum crossbarres. Metal clamps add extra strength to these units as well. These pro ballet barres are perfect for using in a studio each day if you need height adjustable crossbarres.
The Extreme series is our strongest and most durable series. It is composed entirely of steel. This barre is heavy, starting at around 40 LBS for the 4ft size. The crossbarres are fixed at 42" and 32" above the floor which is typical for ballet use. This portable barre will feel like its planted into the floor, and does not move much from side to side during typical use. It is the perfect ballet barre for daily use in the studio. We have lengths up to 16ft long for when you have a lot of students to teach!
